Now, to be fair to Crosby, he spent a considerable portion of last season injured, and thus, didn\'t ever really have a chance to capture those two pieces of hardware. Still, you know that didn\'t ease the sting at all when Crosby watched Ovechkin accept the awards late last spring.

So we know Sidney Crosby is motivated to get his trophies back. The big question is, can he? Gone are the days when players like Gretzky and Lemieux dominated the scoring race year after year.
